30 Days Return Policy

At Upper House Design, we are committed to providing quality products and a seamless shopping experience. This policy outlines your rights under Australian Consumer Law (ACL) and our procedures for returns and refunds.

1. Return Window

You have 30 days from the date you receive your order to request a return. If 30 days have passed since delivery, we unfortunately cannot offer you a refund or exchange.

2. Eligibility for Returns

To be eligible for a return, your item must be:

  • In the same condition that you received it (New).
  • Unworn, unused, and unwashed.
  • In its original packaging with all tags and labels attached.
  • Accompanied by a receipt or proof of purchase.

3. Return Shipping & Fees

  • Restocking Fees: We do not charge any restocking fees.
  • Return Shipping Cost: For change-of-mind returns, the customer is responsible for the return shipping costs. Shipping costs are non-refundable.
  • Defective/Wrong Items: If you received a damaged, defective, or incorrect item, Upper House Design will cover the return shipping costs or provide a pre-paid return label.

4. How to Initiate a Return

To start a return, please contact us strictly via email to avoid processing delays:

Please include your Order Number and the reason for the return. If your return is accepted, we will send you instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

5. Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected at our facility, we will send you an email to notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment within 10 business days. Please note that your bank or credit card company may take additional time to post the refund to your account.

6. Exchanges

We accept exchanges for defective or damaged items. If you need to exchange an item for the same product, send us an email at contact@upperhousedesign.com.

7. Non-Returnable Items

Certain types of items cannot be returned, including:

  • Perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants)
  • Custom products (such as special orders or personalized items)
  • Personal care goods (such as beauty products)
  • Gift cards
